Product of the month – Danfoss TP5001 programmable room thermostat

For September’s product of the month we have chosen the Danfoss TP5001 programmable room thermostat.

With a large, backlit LCD Display and full heating schedule control, the redesigned TP5001 replaces existing TP7000 and TP9000 models, creating an easier choice for installers without compromising any features and benefits for end-users.

The microprocessor-based programmable room thermostat comes with many advanced features and in accordance with Boiler Plus regulations, includes on/off load compensation control  for increased comfort and improved economy.

For enhanced efficiency, Danfoss has designed the TP5001 with a choice of heating startup options including Standard and new dynamic Delayed or Optimised features. It includes a Holiday mode to save energy when the property is empty, and Frost Protection temperature settings to protect against sudden temperature drops.

The TP5001 also has an intuitive user interface, with simple controls and a large backlit display that is easy to see, even in dimly lit areas. In addition, the unit incorporates a service interval timer, which can be activated by the installer as a gas safety feature for landlords.
